The Coalition to Protect America’s Health Care launches a multi-faceted advertising campaign as the debate over the future of the Affordable Care Act shifts to the U.S. Senate.

Today the Coalition is launching an advertising campaign asking senators to protect coverage for the estimated 23 million Americans who could lose health coverage under the House-passed American Health Care Act (AHCA). The Coalition’s television and digital advertising, running in 12 states, along with national digital placements, ask the questions: “Am I one of the 23 million? Is my family? My best friend?”— a poignant reminder that loss of coverage could affect anyone. Powerful radio ads will focus on the battle against opioid addiction raging in many parts of the country and the consequences loss of coverage could play in overcoming addiction.

Both TV and digital ads will encourage viewers to either call a toll-free telephone number to be connected to their senators or to click through online to send an email. The message is the same either way: Protect health coverage for all, protect coverage for the 23 million who could lose coverage.
