New Emergency Department at Inter-Community Hospital is NOW open!
Covina, Calif. – The wait is finally over.
The newly constructed Emergency Department (ED) at Inter-Community Hospital
in Covina is now open and ready to treat patients.
The new ED cost more than $10 million dollars to construct and just under
three years to complete. It features 21 beds, nearly doubling its previous
size. The welcoming entrance and front lobby are directly off of College
and 3rd streets in downtown Covina. And, the patient treatment stations
offer a spacious and comforting environment while offering the latest
technology that will continue to enable the ICH medical team to provide
advanced emergent care. In fact, the ED features direct access to the

The emergency department will also continue to provide Rapid Medical Evaluation
(RME) exams, ensuring patients are seen and evaluated quickly by medical

Another feature of emergency services at all CVHP hospitals, including

is online emergency room appointment scheduling for non-life threatening
