We know that between the expansion of Medi-Cal benefits and the new enrollees
from Covered California that there will be many more newly insured community
members needing health care services. We also know that there are many
people without insurance who need an affordable option to receive care.
Access to care can be challenging and we want to help make a difference.
These are just a few of the reasons that Citrus Valley Health Partners
is constructing a new Federally Qualified Health Clinic (FQHC).
The 7,000 square foot FQHC will be located on the corner of College Street
and 4th Avenue, across the street from Citrus Valley – Intercommunity
Hospital's Emergency Department. Construction has already begun on
this new clinic, which will feature 12 exam rooms, a retail pharmacy,
outpatient programs and experience health care providers ready to take
care of patient needs.
Construction is expected to be completed by the end of this summer. For
