Obstetrics and Gynecology

Najib J. Bouz, M.D.
Medical Director, Glendora Surgery Center

Dr. Najib Bouz has been practicing as a physician and surgeon in obstetrics and gynecology in Southern California for over 25 years. A well-respected doctor in the community, Dr. Bouz is a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1981. He also is a member in good standing of many professional medical organizations, including the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists. After completing a three-year residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Louisiana State University, Dr. Bouz spent one year as a member of their full-time medical faculty. In 1978, he entered private practice as an obstetric and gynecological surgeon. He specializes in advanced female surgeries because he believes that today’s woman deserves a full spectrum of surgical options and procedures to help maintain health at any age. Dr. Bouz has mastered many highly technical advanced surgeries for women, including the Less Invasive Hysterectomy (LSH), Essure Permanent Birth Control, Vaginal Rejuvenation and the Gynecare Thermachoice and TVT procedures.

Naim S. Kassar, M.D.
Dr. Naim Kassar has been practicing as a physician and surgeon in obstetrics and gynecology for 22 years. He completed two residencies in obstetrics and gynecology at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri and served as a member of their obstetrics and gynecology department until 1984. He also served as Assistant Professor at the University of Missouri in Kansas City from 1977-1979. Dr. Kassar became Board-certified in 1981 by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Throughout his distinguished medical career, he has dedicated himself to learn about all of the latest procedures to help improve the lives of women and proudly introduces these procedures at the Glendora Surgery Center for the benefit of patients seeking advanced medical solutions.


Steven D. Alvarez-Mott, M.D., FACOG
Dr. Steven Alvarez-Mott has been practicing as a physician and surgeon in obstetrics and gynecology for 23 years. A native Southern Californian, Dr. Alvarez-Mott is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine, and completed numerous residencies and internships in obstetrics and gynecology. In 1989, he became certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The following year, he was named Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Alvarez-Mott is dedicated to providing the latest obstetrical and gynecological procedures for his patients and continuously devotes himself to studying advanced techniques in laparaoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery. Dr. Alvarez-Mott has also mastered the highly technical Less Invasive Hysterectomy (LSH) and Gynecare TVT procedures.

Orthopedic Surgery

Paul Bouz, M.D.
Dr. Paul Bouz has enjoyed a distinguished medical career as a physician and orthopedic surgeon for 38 years, and is a senior member of the Glendora Surgery Center medical team. Following graduation from medical school, Dr. Bouz completed a five-year orthopedic surgery residency at the esteemed Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. In 1982, he became Board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and has been in private practice for the past 27 years in Southern California.

Anesthesiology

Nadim Haddad, Ph.D., M.D.
Dr. Nadim Haddad has been practicing as a physician for 14 years, following graduation from the Medical College of Georgia in 1992. Prior to establishing his medical practice in California, he completed a four-year residency in anesthesiology from the Medical College of Georgia from 1992-1996. He became Board-certified in 1998 by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He provides close medical oversight for the Glendora Surgery Center.
