Program Description:
At Citrus Valley Medical Center, we understand that having surgery can be traumatic to anyone, especially a child. There are a lot of strange sounds, sights, smells and unfamiliar faces.
That's why we have developed a special program about surgery that can help prepare you and your child for this important day. This program will prepare children ages 3-12 for surgery. Pediatric nursing staff provides hands-on education and a tour of the pediatric unit.
We believe that once your family knows what to expect, your child's surgery experience will be less stressful on all of you.
