The Voice Clinic helps patients improve and regain their ability to talk, sing, and communicate with their voices. We use state-of-the art technology and employ highly trained teams of Otolaryngologists and Speech Pathologists to help patients on their journey to recovery.

The Voice Clinic team treats a wide range of voice disorders, including:

Structural

  • Cancer (head and neck)
  • Laryngitis
  • Post Trauma
  • Vocal fold lesions (cysts, nodules, papilloma)

Neurogenic

  • Vocal fold paralysis/paresis
  • Movement Disorders (Spasmodic Dysphonia, Parkinson's Disease)

Functional

  • Pain in the throat or neck
  • Hoarseness
  • Muscle tension dysphonia
  • Vocal fold bowing

  • Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES)
  • Videostroboscopy
  • Analysis and discussion of pathology
  • Referral for further evaluations, for other speech and health problems that may accompany a voice disorder, such as medical concerns, dysarthria, swallowing difficulty, emotional disturbance)
