Newborn Necessities:
Being a parent is one of life's most rewarding experiences. This Class covers infant care, choosing essential baby items, establishing a relationship with a pediatrician and immunizations. We will explore the soon-to-be Mom's and Dad's new roles, feelings, responsibilities and expectations in the transition into parenthood.
Meets one Tuesday per month, 6-8:30 p.m.
Breast-feeding Basics:
While breast-feeding is a natural way to feed your baby, it is not always easy in the beginning days of your baby's life! Difficulties in nursing can be eased and even eliminated by acquiring the most up-to-date information as well as the most helpful techniques in learning the art of breast feeding. Fathers are encouraged to attend.
Meets one Tuesday per month, 6 - 8:30 p.m.
Mom 2 Mom: Breast-feeding Support Group:
Moms and breast-feeding infants only. No older children, please. Tuesdays; 10-11 a.m.
Childbirth Education Programs
Childbirth Preparation Classes:
Lamaze classes are offered as a weekly series for 5-6 weeks, or a two-day weekend series is available. Call by your fifth month of pregnancy to register.

Mother Baby Specialty Shoppe:
For women delivering at The Family Birth & Newborn Center at Citrus Valley Medical Center - Queen of the Valley Campus or the Newborn Inn at Foothill Presbyterian Hospital, pump rentals and private consultations are available to help mothers solve their breast-feeding problems.
Sweet Success:
This program for women with diabetes or those who develop diabetes during pregnancy is aimed at keeping mom fit for delivering a healthy baby. Offered in English or Spanish.
