We are just about diabetes education and helping those with diabetes manage their health. We are a non-profit organization and are not here to sell you products including medications, meters, or anything else. We will provide you with a free meter if you do not already have one.
Our team includes six educators and two secretaries that are bilingual in English and Spanish. Our education staff has a combined experience in diabetes education of over 72 years. Our core educators are Certified Diabetes Educators. To find out more about us, click the Our Staff link to the left.
The Outpatient Diabetes Education Program has been recognized by the American Diabetes Association since 1993 and has been an affiliate of the California Diabetes & Pregnancy Program (Sweet Success) since 1992.
