Adolescents with diabetes are seen only on a one-to-one basis. The whole family is welcome to attend. Diabetes really is a family endeavor—it affects mom, dad, and siblings.

In addition to teaching you the things you need to manage your diabetes, we place a special emphasis on helping the adolescent be a teenager first!

We will also provide you with information on how to work with the school system so the school year goes as smoothly as possible and we will provide you with information on diabetes camps.

Check back with us regarding our new program for children at risk of developing diabetes.

Come to our free support groups to help the adolescent and the family live with diabetes:

  • 4th Wednesday of each month from 7 pm to 8:30 pm – Glendora office. Most of the parents stay in the lobby area and visit with each other. Our support group leader celebrates the kids’ birthdays and holidays with special events and treats.

Come join us and start today on a new road to health!
We’re here to help you! Contact us at 626/857-3477 and one of our staff will enroll you in our program! You are always welcome to bring a family member or a significant other with you at no charge.
