| Women with type 1 and type 2 diabetes can have healthy babies if they manage their diabetes very well before and during their pregnancies. Whenever possible, we encourage women who are planning a pregnancy to come to our preconception training classes.
Uncontrolled diabetes can lead to serious complications for the mother and her baby, but these are preventable with early treatment and continued support.
We specialize in working with women on insulin pumps during pregnancy.
Our staff will work with you and hold your hand when you need it. We will train you how to eat, exercise, check your blood sugar, manage your insulin (if you take insulin) and enjoy your pregnancy!
