Occupational Therapy

Our Occupational Therapy teams at the Queen of the Valley Campus and at our Glendora Satellite Clinic utilize a holistic and patient-centered approach for assessing and working with patients who have deficits in the activities of daily living, work and job functions and play and leisure.

Commonly treated diagnoses include:

  • All hand injuries – cumulative trauma injuries, industrial injuries
  • Neurologic disorders – stroke, palsies, Guillain-Barre syndrome
  • Joint diseases – osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis
  • Bone fractures, dislocations
  • Cancer
  • Pediatric and congenital diseases including developmental delays, syndromes, autism

  • Hand therapy
  • Lymphedema – complete decongestive therapy
  • Work simulation
  • Visual/perceptual therapy
  • Post-surgical care for orthopedic patients
  • Pediatrics – sensory integration, feeding and swallowing, lactation consultation for mothers
  • Vision therapy
  • Home exercise
