At Citrus Valley Health Partners, we are committed to furthering the education and training of our nursing staff. We have a number of different programs, unique to CVHP, that were developed to help our staff further their careers. For example, we have established a clinical ladder that acts as a career track for nursing staff, recognizing their accomplishments, training, skills and specific expertise in patient care. Our budding RN program has already helped 14 of our staff obtain their Registered Nurse licenses. The CNA to LVN track was developed to assist our Certified Nursing Assistants who have had more than 51 months of experience in acute care challenge the Licensed Vocational Nurse boards. We also have regulatory training programs, nursing specialty programs, programs to improve nurse-doctor relationships, and programs for basic educational needs.
