A Flexible Spending Account, or FSA, offers an employee the valuable opportunity to set aside money for certain qualified expenses such as health care or dependent care. The money deducted from an employee's pay that goes into a Flexible Spending Account is not subject to payroll taxes, which may result in substantial payroll tax savings.
